Lord Parashurama is the sixth avatar of Vishnu, known as the axe‑wielding warrior sage who appears whenever dharma (righteousness) is threatened by tyranny and injustice. Born to the sage Jamadagni and Renuka, he vowed to restore moral order after rulers became corrupt and oppressive.
